Welcome to my blog
I’m not really one for blogs, never having had the time or inclination to read one on a regular basis. So it’s fairly hypocritical of me to decide to write one. But I’ve got this fancy new web site and so I thought I might as well have a blog.
The question now, of course, is what my blog is going to be about. Well, seeing as I’m a science writer, I suppose it should be about science. But one of the attractions to me of having a blog is that it would allow me to write about subjects other than science. Then I thought who’s going to be interested in my thoughts on all and sundry. I mean that’s one of reasons I don’t read anyone else’s blog.
So, basically, I don’t yet know what this blog is going to be about, but I am sure that it’s going to be weekly. I’m kind of siding towards it being about almost anything, although there probably will usually be some kind of scientific angle in there. But who knows; we’ll see how it goes. This blog is going to be organic, flexible and evolving, and more than likely not read by anyone else.
