Jon Evans is a science writer, editor and author based in West Sussex, UK.

He has written for a wide range of science magazines, including New Scientist, Chemistry World, Nature Medicine, Chemistry & Industry and Plastics Engineering. He is also a regular contributor to the website separationsNOW.com, which covers the latest developments in chromatography and electrophoresis, and to both the print and web editions of the new biofuels publication Biofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining.

His first book, Understand Science, is published by Hodder Education and is available from Amazon and all good bookshops.

He is a member of the Association of British Science Writers and the Society of Authors.
